The proposed model of the comprehensive programme for prenatal care and adjustment for delivery takes in consideration an interdisciplinary approach when dealing with pregnancy. Psychological and social aspects are stressed and focused on the interaction between mother, father and the prenatal child is emphasized. Practical advice for both expecting parents and professionals is included.
