Bungee jumping is so-called kind of action sport and exists in Europe since the end of the seventies. The first fans of this leisure activities were inspired by the GOL-ritual which was practised by the inhabitants of a South Seas island. This text concerns itself with the question of whether prae and perinatale experiences are in any way a shaping influence on their later behavior, that the driving force for such thrills can be the basic motive of a repeat of displaced birth perceptions. Different birth metaphors and fantasies enumerated in their descriptions of Bungee or GOL jumps emerge. Finally we describe the possible link between the "fall of man" rituals and birth perception.
